Day 16: Counting every Blessing

Today is Day 16 of #mybuffetyear.  Buffet Year is about getting out of your comfort zone and new experiences just as much as it is about showing gratitude on a deep level.  I believe it is very important to slow down and take the time for reflection and be thankful for the people that have helped you out along the way.  However, I don't always take the time to do it.

Recently I had someone come over for 3 hours to help remove and replace some cedar deck boards.  Which I am very grateful for because I don't have a miter saw, saw horses, patience, or handyman skills.  People live by measure twice and cut once, but I'm like close counts measure once and fuck it.  I've pressure washed the deck twice already and it still probably needs to be pressure washed again around the gas firepit and deck furniture. Then the deck needs to be slapped with some exterior deck paint and pressure washed around the pool area

You've heard the song that never ends well this feels like the project that never ends, but we are well on our way and I'm very grateful for getting those deck boards replaced so someone doesn't get hurt this summer.
