If you know Friends, you know the reference. And I’m here to share an exciting pivot happening at Buffet Year. While I’m still the same guy who is championing having your own Buffet Year (which is trying new activities every day for as long as possible), I’ve been immersed in helping business owners expand their reach too.
When I started Buffet Year in early 2023, I was coming out of a many years long rut. My routine was no longer monotonous and driven by autopilot, and I knew I needed to keep growing. That’s when I committed to my own Buffet Year to break free from my comfort zone and try new things. My Buffet Year completely changed my life - and it was only 45 days of trying new things every day.
For that time of my Buffet Year, I committed to stepping outside my comfort zone EVERY SINGLE DAY. While my streak eventually ended, the experience fundamentally changed me. This year, I’ve continued to embrace new experiences more than ever before, which is saying something for an almost 40 year old Virgo who likes what he likes. With this conscious work to try new things, I’ve started untangling the habits and patterns that previously guided my decisions on autopilot. I now play guitar every day, became a certified yoga teacher, and found my calling in helping small businesses expand their impact with paid ads and expanded online presence.

As I continued to explore new experiences the past two years, my vision for Buffet Year expanded as well. I launched Buffet Year Media to support businesses starting out to get the phone ringing from the day the doors open. My vision is a media agency that is not only affordable but also helps people who are doing new things, growing new businesses, and stepping outside their own comfort zones. It’s so much easier to know you’re not alone when you partner with someone equally committed to new challenges.
My goal is to help these small business owners find their perfect clients, ultimately granting them more time freedom to focus on what truly matters so they can find more joy in all areas of life. I’ve learned firsthand that starting a new business doesn’t have to feel overhemingingly stressful and scary when you have an online paid ad and website strategy that supports your client impact goals.
